Dr. Adams has achieved national recognition for his work on the acceptability of online degrees. His work has focused on how gatekeepers react to choosing between candidates with online degrees or traditional degrees in various employment situations.
His work has been recognized by a number of new media including the Chronicle of Higher Education, Times Magazine and the New York Times. He is currently writing a book that looks at the acceptability of online degrees from a historical perspective.
